This project has Marketing!!!
I received an e-mail from Brian Merrill at Windermere this week. It talks about the ongoing construction process at the Lake House project in Chelan. 
I have to comment on how impressed I am with the marketing effort that is ongoing for this project. Their web site can be found here.They started with some of the best computer generated renderings of the project I have ever seen done in this area. All of their graphics have been professionally and very well done. Their web site is super and not another cookie cutter site as is so often seen in Chelan. They have had and participated in numerous local events from their sales office downtown. They took a different approach to the time-share market by offering quarter shares, giving the project a unique niche in the local market.
Clearly, they have spent some money doing all of this. They have also generated a fair (hopefully meeting their expectations or better) number of reservations. I haven’t seen any other projects in the Chelan area that have been willing to do that kind of marketing program. It is encouraging that they seem to be bringing additional traffic to town and creating a bigger pie. Please share your thoughts on this project’s marketing in the comments!
