It’s the New Year with the 2007 Numbers!
Well, 2007 was quite the year for real estate. I’ve compiled some numbers for 2007 versus 2006 and the 2nd half of both years in our little corner of the market in the Chelan Valley. Here’s what they look like:
Annual Residential Sales:
Chelan Coop Brokers
2006: Sold 189, Avg Sale Price Sold $372,586, Avg DOM Sold 154
2007: Sold 152, Avg Sale Price Sold $427,787, Avg DOM Sold 142
2nd Half Residential Sales:
2006: Sold 100, Avg Sale Price Sold $444,634, Avg DOM Sold 146
2007: Sold 85, Avg Sale Price Sold $463,293, Avg DOM Sold 134
Annual Condominium Sales:
Full Share Condos
2006 Sold 46, Avg Sale Price Sold $405,953, Avg DOM Sold 128
2007 Sold 50, Avg Sale Price Sold $409,048, Avg DOM Sold 142
In Chelan, the average residential sales price, excluding condos, increased 14.8%, even with volumes down a bit. Full Share condos average sales prices are also up slightly, with a bit higher volume.
This just shows real estate truly is a local market, with Chelan being spared much of the turmoil some other markets are seeing.
